Leonardo Da Vinci was not only a painter but he was also scientist, mathematician, engineer, botanist, musician, sculptor, inventor and many other things. One of his most iconic paintings, The Last Supper utilizes many different techiniques to create a sense of space. The easiest to identify is the overlapping of the apostles. This painting is also done in one point perspective, the vanishing point near the center of the piece where Jesus is sitting.
