Judy Hwang : Nam June Paik

Nam June Paik was a South-Korean born artist that lived and worked in America for the majority of his life. He became famous for a piece called TV cello where he and classical cellist Charlotte Moorman stacked televisions on top each other in a cello-like shape. When Moorman played the cello, images of her and other cellist showed in the televisions. He often used televisions in his work like in the second picture called Electronic Superhighway:Continental US, which criticizes America's obsession with "television, the moving image, and bright shiny things"(wikipedia).
