Art is something that invokes some sort of reaction from an audience through a use of a medium. It can either be visually, emotionally or intellectually stimulating. The reactions are totally subjective because each person's unique experiences in life determines how they perceive a work of art. Like Kristen, I picked a Van Gogh painting titled "Irises". The subject, irises or flowers in general hold a special place in my heart because my mom loved flower paintings and that's when she agreed tto take me to art class.
